bored

i was so bored a cupple nights ago that at like midnight i got up got my camera and took pics of my orchids. (sorry for the pointless story) Not bad for sleepy eyes huh?

sooo im just bored right now...im going over to Priscilla's house tomorrow! i always have fun there. i am just typing to stay awake, truthfully. mom is upstairs sleeping and i got tired of stuffing my face with homemade chocolate chip cookies. i cant think of much to do...this is extremely desperate but I'll leave you with my favorite poem.

for the first time that i can remember i didnt spend it at home. mom and i drove up to seattle and spent christmas with my sister! and it was fabulous!!! i gave and got some really great presents and getting to snuggle up to mary frances was the best gift ever. here are a few pics!

merry Christmas eve! im so exited for it! i even got myself a little pre christmas present. A NEW CAMERA! my old one broke down and i figured it was time for an upgrade. im really exitd about trying it out. other news im headin down to my sisters house for christmas so im gonna get my (semi) big family christmas get together. there will be pictures!

its been a while!

hey! its been so long since I've blogged. nothing is really going on, had some boy drama but not really worth blogging about. or i guess i would feel weird writing about it on my blog...which is kind of the point of a blog. oh, never mind! soon it will be Christmas. along with this feeling of love and mercy and kindness, i feel a little mad. come on people if your gonna try and sell us all this stuff for Christmas as least admit its for Christmas! instead of saying happy holiday say merry Christmas or Kwanzaa or Hanuka! and if your not gonna say its Christmas, don't put Santa in your commercials or make your bottles shaped like Christmas ornaments (ya, I'm talking to you coca cola). anyway, remember that and remember WHY we have Christmas and have a happy...holiday (get it?!)

turkey time! (everyone is wrtiting thanksgiving)

instead of doing the traditional thanksgiving mom and i broke off and went to family number 2 for the holiday! it was a fabulous thanksgiving. there was so much talking and laughing and cooking sometimes i just sat back and watched the scene. like looking at a painting. two women-a chelloist from new york and an fortune teller, yoga, horoscope kind of woman were arguing whether pieces had 3 levels or 4. next to them my mom and a violinist named Steve who had brought the chelloist were talking about Italian operas. then me and Kristina were discussing photography and next to me-ugh i forgot their names they were talking to the Boston lady( who was still half talking to the fortune teller) about mommy dearest which they had never seen. then the food, it was great! the turkey was juicy and the sweet potatoes(brought by mom) were to die for, fortune lady brought tofu, there were 3 count em' three pumpkin pies! it was probably my favorite thanksgiving and i am (cheesy, i know) very thankful!

hey my fonts all messed up. anyway, yesterday i made potato paintings! yep, that's right potato painting. i took little potato slivers and used them as paintbrushes. so fun! i highly recommend it if you have the means. i made a Robert De Nero, an Al Pacino, and a Humphrey Bogart. can you guess which is which? more posts later. p.s the sun shine has finally stopped and we get our Washington weather back! its PORING i was afraid i was going to have to move to California to get a little rain.

sorry its been so long since I've blogged, i left my camera in moms car and forgot to take it out to download pics. i hope you had a happy Halloween and if you want to leave a comment of what you were i would be totally thrilled. sadly i didn't dress up as anything but the Halloween was not wasted. mom and i watched all the special features for the Godfather. it took almost all day! it was great. here are some pics of me and Luther. my coat made my stomach look all weird because it was full of stuff. and here's a pic of some really pretty trees by our house. remind me next time to blog about my new foam finger pen that Sara got me! well it will be a few blogs later cuz im gonna add more pictures.
